Baby Shower: Blue and Brown

Hi everyone!

A couple of weeks ago, I attended a baby shower with a blue and brown, polka-dot and stripe theme!

Since it was for a close family friend, I agreed to help out~  We had a diaper cake, banner, tissue paper decorations, fruit parfaits, games, gifts, cookies, cake, cupcakes, and more!  Although it was an intimate gathering, there was so much to prepare~

Oh, and the cake and cupcakes were baked and decorated by yours truly!

Although these photos don't do justice to how cute everything was, hope you enjoy!

Award-winning dresses~

With all the Oscar buzz last week, my wonderful friend gave me the great idea of posting dresses from the red carpet!  Since the Oscars are such a formal event, there was bound to be some evening dresses that could inspire wedding gowns, so after hours of searching Yahoo's images (too many beauties to choose from), I found my top three dresses~

You may need to use your imagination to envision these beautiful dresses in the wedding dress color of your choice, but I am confident that should be easy as 1-2-3 for our readers~  =)

In third place, to the left, Halle Berry in Marchesa.  Very luxurious and formal. 

First runner-up is Hailee Steinfeld, also in Marchesa.  Perfect for the cute, more casual wedding. 

Or I think it would be great as a bridesmaid dress too~

The metal rose has a special place in my heart because it's made by none other than...my dad! He has a wielding company and for as long as I could remember, he would never fail to surprise me with his creativity.
